⇱ Employment Practices
We want our company to be a reflection of the world around us. We strive to represent the communities we’re a part of to create a culture that is inclusive of all backgrounds, passions, and perspectives. The infographic below is a visual representation of our ongoing commitment to greater diversity in the workplace.
Diversity Policy
We view diversity as everything that makes an employee who they are because individual opinions, perspectives, and passions help fuel the ideas necessary for innovation. As a matter of policy, we believe in providing equal employment access-and-pay to all candidates and holding all directors, executives, advisors, employees, partners, and vendors affiliated with the company accountable to a code of conduct that not only allows them to succeed in the workplace collectively but also encourages each person to express themselves individually, and respect the differences we recognize in one another. We believe the company as a whole shares the responsibility to ensure diversity throughout the organization, and encourages everyone to actively embrace these principles.
Human Resources Statement
All employment decisions are solely based on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications without regard to affiliation, age, color, disability, ethnicity, origin, race, religion, and sex (including but not limited to transgender status, gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), or any other status protected by local, state, and federal laws or regulations where we operate. Our employment policies and practices applies to all terms and conditions of engagement with the company, including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, placements, promotions, layoffs, terminations, recalls, transfers, leaves of absence, and compensation.
Employment Practices
Americas
We are an equal opportunity employer. In accordance with local, state, and federal Equal Opportunity (EEO) laws under the U.S. Civil Rights Act (1964) and the American Disability Act (1990), we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all candidates and a safe working environment for all directors, executives, advisors, employees, partners, and vendors affiliated with the company, free of discrimination (and harassment) of any kind.
Rest of World
We are an equal opportunity employer
. In accordance with the International Labour Organization and World Trade Organization regulations with respect to candidates, employers, employees, and trade unions in the workforce, we are committed to protecting worker’s rights, security, and improve their terms of employment to ensure a safe work environment for all directors, executives, advisors, employees, partners, and vendors affiliated with the company, free of discrimination (and harassment) of any kind.
Internship Programs
We offer internships as an educational opportunity
for candidates rather than a part-time job. The focus of all paid and/or unpaid internships is on crafting, developing, and learning new skills with the goal of gaining a deeper understanding of how to best apply the knowledge gained in the classroom in the workplace through practical hands-on engagement. Pursuant to local, state, and federal regulations (Fair Labor Standards Act), we abide by the United States and New York State Department of Labor’s guidelines for our mentoring or training programs, including eligibility.
Special Provisions
In special cases where candidates or directors, executives, advisors, employees, partners, or vendors affiliated with the company require a work permit, or visa, to apply and/or continue their employment or internship with us in the United States, we abide by the United States Department of Labor’s guidelines for all immigrant and non-immigrant visa programs, including eligibility.
